Evanston fire explorer program open house

Interested in a career in Fire & Emergency Services? Want to see what goes on behind the scenes? Not sure what type of career you might like? Try Evanston Fire & Life Safety Services' Explorer Program.

This coed program is designed for students ages 14-20 years old. Participants will work with and learn from the professionals of the Evanston Fire Department. The program includes team-building exercises, information about emergency call protocols and firefighting policies and procedures, ride-alongs, hands-on experience with real fire and EMS equipment and more.

Get an introduction to the program, participate in a question and answer session, and learn about the application process. Parents and guardians are asked to attend.
