Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Requests Proposals for Community Grants

The  Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club is seeking proposals for projects and programs that meet the 2015 Community Service Theme:

Support organizations and programs that help improve the quality of life for Evanston residents most in need.  Proposals in the areas of education, hunger, homelessness, employment, and health will receive priority consideration.

Projects should demonstrate a need not supported by the organization’s ongoing operating budget and should not exceed $3,000. Organizations are encouraged to apply for support of new initiatives or to increase the impact of an existing program.  

Application materials are available on the club webpage at www.evlrc.org. Proposals are due no later than April 16, 2015, and are to be sent to elrccommunityservice@gmail.com.

The Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club meets Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:30 am at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1818 Maple Avenue, Evanston, Illinois 60201, for breakfast and  a speaker.  Membership is open to service-oriented residents and workers of the area.  Guests are welcome to attend the meetings.  To learn more about the club’s schedule of breakfast programs and its charitable and service programs, visit www.evlrc.org.
