Fountain Square plans to get another airing

Four concepts for redesigning Evanston's downtown Fountain Square will get another look at a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, in the Council Chambers at the Civic Center.

The session, which follows an event in March at which the four concepts were unveiled, is being billed as a joint meeting hosted by the two aldermen whose wards adjoin the square, Judy Fiske, 1st Ward, and Don Wilson, 4th Ward.

City staff will present the the initial concept plans and a summary of public input received so far and describe the next steps in the design process.

City officials say the goal is to receive community input regarding initial concept designs for the renovation project and establish overall design preferences.
