Free hearing and cognitive screenings will be conducted by the Northwestern University Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mallinckrodt Senior Center in Wilmette.
Each screening takes 15 to20 minutes and includes a private consultation to discuss your results. Hearing screenings are directed by clinical faculty members who are accomplished audiologists. Cognitive screenings are directed by clinical faculty members who are speech-language pathologists experienced with the complex connections between the adult brain and memory, language ability and other cognitive functions.
