Kirk and a Sesh – A Night of Scottish Music

The Bach + Beethoven Experience (BBE)  is performing in Kirk and a Sesh – a program of sacred and pub-based Scottish music in conjunction with the vocal group Bella Voce at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday, June 6 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $25 for the general public – children under 12 are free and 13-18 are half price at the door.

“We just can’t get enough of the Scots!  So, the BBE is teaming up with Chicago’s premier professional chamber choir, Bella Voce, and the Thistle and Heather Highland Dancers to get back into that Scottish swing we love so much. In this program, we do it a little differently, though, as we explore the sacred (Kirk, or church) and profane (a Sesh, or a night out at the pub) music of Scotland,” explain Ms. Berry Benson, BBE’s founder and artistic director.  Get a taste of what you’ll hear at https://youtu.be/mD8u8es_vE8
