The Washington Post declares that “no singer in jazz has been as daring, dynamic, or interesting,” adding that “he has come to embody the creative spirit of jazz.” Elling has recorded 10 albums and has collaborated with such jazz greats as Dave Brubeck, Charlie Hunger, and Al Jarreau.
