Sarah Kaiser-Amaral, is an artist and a teacher (American Academy of Art) whose paintings juxtapose figures, birds, and geometric patterns that are unified in a harmonious color palette influenced by nature.
Eleanor Spiess-Ferris, is an American symbolist painter cited as a significant surrealist, narrative figurative and feminist artist. Her numerous visual works display powerful influences of the Spanish and Native American cultures of Northern New Mexico, where she grew up.
Cary Cochrane, paints in oil, acrylic and watercolor, as well making woodcuts and etchings. In addition to fine art, Cochrane creates a weekly comic about his dogs for the Winnetka Current and his journal drawings entertain followers on his blog.
Alexander Berns, is an Evanston artist and Pratt Institute student whose expressive pen and ink drawing and poetry will be featured in the show.
Hevanston is an Evanston, Illinois based gallery featuring original works by local artists in a variety of media including stained glass, oil painting, sculpture, and photography. In addition, the gallery holds evens in classes featuring local artists and topics relevant to the surrounding area.
