No cable? City offers playoff viewing sites

With the Chicago Cubs in the National League Wildcard Playoff Game Wednesday night, Oct. 7, against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the City of Evanston is offering fans who don't have cable television a chance to watch the game with neighbors at two city facilities.

TVs will be set up at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave., and the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St. for the game, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Parking and admission is free; but fans will need to bring money for the vending machine if they want refreshments.
