Piven’s ‘Anytime/Anywhere’ Improvisation Series

Piven Theatre Workshop’s Second Annual Improv Series, “Anytime/Anywhere”, runs February 13 through March 6 at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center.

As a “return to its roots” in improvisation, the Piven series features a month-long program featuring teams from the artistic community as well as its own Improvisation Ensemble and Piven associate improvisers.

Piven’s history of improvisation runs back to the founding of the Workshop by Joyce and Byrne Piven, 45 years ago.

Invitations to participants for “Anytime/Anywhere” went out to the Piven community, including current students, who were asked to form teams and/or train in special 4 week classes to develop their improvisation skills. The series is curated by Jennifer Green.

"Anytime/Anywhere" runs February 13 through March 6 at Piven Theatre Workshop, 927 Noyes Street, Evanston. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $15
and can be purchased by calling 847-866-8049 or online at www.piventheatre.org
