PLAYground spring drama workshop

Inspired by MAKING MOCHI ON THE MOON by Wendy Gourley, WHAT REMAINS by Max Bush, and ANNIE JUMP AND THE LIBRARY OF HEAVEN by Reina Hardy.

A drama-based workshop for ages 8-11.

Join Purple Crayon Players for an educational workshop as the group explores the three different plays that will be performed in The 6th Annual PLAYground Festival on April 19. This workshop will dive into different types of theater through various improvisational games and other creative theatrical practices, while also touching on the themes found in the three plays such as friendship and identity. 

*Workshop recommended for grades 3rd-6th

When: Saturdays 2:00-3:30pm April 12, April 26, May 3 and May 10.

*April 19th is excluded because Purple Crayon Players will be producing the PLAYground Festival. While it is not required to attend the festival, it is highly encouraged!

Where: Northwestern University Campus, University Hall 218

Enrollment: $20 (scholarships available)

Includes FREE admission to all performances of The 6th Annual PLAYground Festival for all participants on April 19th
