Public meetings on Penny Park

The City of Evanston, together with 2nd Ward Alderman Peter Braithwaite and the Park and Recreation Board, will host two public engagements regarding planned improvements at Penny Park, which is located at Lake St. at Ashland Ave. 

Each meeting will present the same materials, thus residents are encouraged to attend either as their schedules permit.

Meeting 1
2nd Ward/Public Meeting
Thursday, August 11, 2016, 7 p.m.
J.E.H. Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Ave.

Meeting 2
Parks and Recreation Board/Public Meeting
Thursday, August 18, 2016, 7 p.m.
Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, Room 2402,
2100 Ridge Ave.

The goal is to receive community input in order to finalize the restoration plan. The agenda for these two meetings are:
– Introduction / Opening Remarks
– Overview / Update of Park and Playground Restoration
– Public Comments / Questions
