An advocate for new music, Jonathan Biss is the winner of numerous awards including the Leonard Bernstein Award, Wolf Trap’s Shouse Debut Artist Award and Lincoln Center’s Martin E. Segal Award. He is performing throughout the United States and Europe this season, making appearances with the Chicago, Danish National and BBC Symphony orchestras. Biss’ program includes Schumann’s “Gesänge der Frühe,” selections from Volume VII of Kurtág’s “Játékok,” Chopin’s Polanaise-Fantasie and Brahms’ Klavierstücke, Op. 118 and 119.
