The Rotary Club of Evanston Lighthouse will hold its 2d Annual Taste of Evanston event in the Garden Plaza of the Rotary International headquarters at 1560 Sherman Ave. on Sunday, June 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Taste will feature food from several popular Evanston restaurants, accompanied by music from the band, Suite Mollie Seven, and entertainment by a strolling magician.

Principal beneficiaries of the club’s annual fundraiser are the Hillside Food Pantry and the Hunger Resource Network.

Hillside Food Pantry provides sustenance to 500 food insecure families a week. Hunger Resource Network connects surplus food from farmers markets and grocery stores to food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters.

Among participating restaurants are La Principal, Farmhouse, Bistro Bordeaux, Creperie St Germain, Mount Everest, Hearth, Ten Mile House, Koi, Peckish Pig, and Hecky’s Barbecue.

Tickets are available via the club’s website.
