Sarah Frick, Vice President of External Affairs for Chicago Commons, speaks Feb. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 N. Lincoln Ave. in Skokie.
Her topic is, “Serving People in Need: The Settlement House Movement.” Frick will recount the long history of Chicago Commons, which along with Hull House was an early pioneer in helping Chicago’s poor and immigrant communities. She will discuss how their work goes on.
