The Chicago Tribune hails the Dover Quartet’s “expert musicianship, razor-sharp ensemble, deep musical feeling, and a palpable commitment to communication.” Since taking the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition by storm, the quartet has become a major presence on the
international scene. Highlights of 2016–17 included the release of the group’s debut recording, a US tour with bassist-composer Edgar Meyer, performances of the complete Beethoven quartet cycles, and—most recently—a 2017 Avery Fisher Career Grant.
