Although schools are closed in Evanston today, the city’s not taking the day off. But apparently a lot of residents don’t know that and haven’t put out their recycling containers.
City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz says residents can call 311 if they have missed today’s pickup, but crews may not be able to catch up until later in the week.
So, if you’re not on a Monday trash route — remember to put your trash out on the usual day this week.
