Cook County Clerk David Orr’s office issued final, certified results from the April 4 election today — and they don’t change the outcomes of any races in Evanston.
There were two races where winner and loser were separated by less than a percentage point.
Alderman Ann Rainey, 8th Ward, squeezed out a 13-vote victory over challenger Rob Bady. Rainey ended up with 50.43 percent of the vote.
And in the mayoral contest, the final count showed Steve Hagerty with a 115-vote margin over Mark Tendam. Hagerty ended up with 50.32 percent of the vote.
