Foundation 65, a non-profit group that raises funds to support arts and literacy in the Evanston/Skokie District 65 schools, announced receipt of a $35,000 gift from Northwestern University.
Northwestern, along with the Tawani Foundation of Jennifer Pritzker and the Lewis-Sebring Family Foundation, is a major continuing supporter of Foundation 65’s programs, according to Lise Jinno, its executive director.
In fact, a portion of this gift from Northwestern is eligible to be matched by Tawani, Jinno said, under a three-year challenge grant.
Jinno added that this grant “will allow us to continue to invest in innovative learning opportunities for students at every school in District 65.”

Through focused arts and literacy grants, Foundation 65 works to support students directly, helping to decrease the achievement gap, improve instructional practice through professional development for teachers, and provide enrichment for all students in the district.
Thanks Northwestern and
Thanks Northwestern and Jennifer.
And Thank You to…
…In addition to Northwestern University and Jennifer Pritzker, thanks should also be extended to the Lewis-Sebring Family Foundation and all contributors to Foundation 65 and all volunteers at Foundation 65 and related organizations.
It's through the collective efforts and resources from many people in the Evanston community that enable extra programs to help more children realize their full potential. More work needs to be done.
Get involved.
