Northwestern University Police say an NU student was robbed at gunpoint about 7 p.m. this evening at the corner of Foster Street and Maple Avenue in Evanston.

Police say the student said a group of four teen-age males approached the student, showed a gun, took the student’s wallet and cellphone, and then fled west on Foster Street.

The student said one of the teens was wearing a blue coat and another had a black coat, but was unable to provide a more complete description of the robbers.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Evanston police at 847-866-5000.
