Northwestern University officials are cooking up a strategic plan to guide the school through the next decade.

A draft of the plan, unveiled on the school’s website, poses questions about the usual subjects for such documents — how to attract and retain the best faculty and students, improve teaching techinques, build community outside the classroom, improve global engagement, become more diverse and inclusive, build strategic partnerships and better communicate the school’s strengths to others.

Provost Daniel I. Linzer says he’s looking for comments on the plan by e-mail until Dec. 1. The e-mail address is on the website.
