An unknown offender picked up a dropped cell phone on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of Dodge Avenue between 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. Friday.
1200 Chicago
Cosmetics in an unsecured apartment common area in the 1200 block of Chicago Avenue were stolen around noon last Tuesday
1500 Fowler
Various watches were stolen from an apartment in the 1500 block of Fowler Avenue between Nov. 1 and Nov. 5.
1300 Hartrey
Cash was taken from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Hartrey Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday.
2700 Green Bay
Victoria Alkhovsky Barnes, 42, of 328 14th St., Wilmette, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft of food that was taken from the Whole Foods store in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road. She is due in court on Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m.
Update 4/2/19: Charges against Barnes were dismissed on March 22.
2500 Green Bay
Copper wiring was removed from a box in the alley in the 2500 block of Green Bay Road between 6 p.m. Friday and 6:45 a.m. Saturday.
2200 Sherman
Bicycles were taken from an apartment storage area in the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 12:40 p.m. Saturday.
Burglary
1500 Brummel
An unlocked door provided access for a burglar to a home in the 1500 block of Brummel Street around 10:38 a.m. Friday.
700 Hinman
Clothing items were taken from a locked 2011 Audi in the 700 block of Hinman Avenue between 11 a.m. Saturday and 5:27 p.m. yesterday.
200 Dempster
Tools were removed from an unlocked 2011 Ford in the 200 block of Dempster Street between 8 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 a.m. Friday.
1500 Dewey
A cell phone was taken from an unlocked 2016 Ford in the driveway of a home in the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue between 9 p.m. Thursday and 2:03 p.m. Friday.

900 Maple
A window was cracked at a medical office in the 900 block of Maple Avenue around 2:40 p.m. Saturday.
1700 Maple
Scratches were made on the door and trunk of a 2013 Fiat in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue between 3:45 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday.
Custer at Oakton
A windshield was found cracked on a 2002 Chevrolet near Custer Avenue and Oakton Street .at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
1400 Chicago
Peter J. Craig, 55, of 1617 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1400 Chicago Ave. at 3:28 a.m. today and charged with criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.

Salem Lane
Aldo Lopez Herrera, 25, of 5422 W. Thomas Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Salem Lane in Skokie at 1 a.m. Saturday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Foster at Ashland
Police received a report of a man with a gun near Foster Street and Ashland Avenue at 10:04 p.m. Saturday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Sheridan at Chicago
Gunshots were reported at Sheridan Road and Chicago Avenue at 10:36 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
100 Callan
Gunshots were reported at 100 Callan Avenue at 8:47 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Traffic
2400 Oakton
Erik Z. Abron, 28, of 711 Florence Ave., was arrested at 2400 Oakton St. at 2:20 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Dec. 31 at 9 a.m.
South Boulevard at Chicago
Twan DeAngleo Daniels-Robinson, 30, of 1907 Dodge Ave., was arrested at South Boulevard and Chicago Avenue at 4:59 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 18 at 9 a.m.
1400 Howard
Victor L. Harris, 28, of 8928 S. Crandon St., Chicago, was arrested at 1400 W. Howard St., Chicago, at 9:30 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 5 at 9:30 a.m.
