RE Journals reports that the nearly 51,000 square foot building changed hands for just over $5 million, or nearly $100 per square foot.
Agents at Marcus & Millichap in Chicago represented both the seller, Evanston Enterprise Center LLC, and the buyer, identified as a private investor.
The building is said to be 95 percent leased, with a variety of tenants, ranging from offices for Northwestern University to the Evanston Chamber of Commerce.
County records show the seller acquired the building in December 2005 for $3.15 million.
