Evanston health officials reported one new COVID-19 case today, bringing the city’s total to 754. The reported death toll remained unchanged at 62.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported test resujlts for 142 more Evanston residents and reported two new cases, for a positive rate of 1.4%

Chicago reported 164 more cases for a total of 49,449 and 12 additional deaths for a total of 2,384.

Statewide there were 672 more cases for a total of 132,543 and 19 more deaths for a total of 6,308.

The IDPH reported results of 22,040 COVID-19 tests today across Illinois with a positive rate of 3.1%. The seven-day average positive rate now is 3.2%

All four regions of Illinois remain on track to move to the next phase of the Reopen Illinois plan toward the end of this month.
