Theft

1000 Dewey

Someone took the wheels and rims off a 2018 Honda while it was parked in the 1000 block of Dewey Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. yesterday.

1900 Dempster

A wallet containing cash and credit cards was taken while unattended at a grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street around 1 p.m. yesterday.

1454 Elmwood

Khalil U. Wright, 21, of 7350 S. Phillips, Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and charged with retail theft.

Curtis Paul, 20, of 136 N. Long, Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 1:39 p.m. Sunday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on June 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Burglary

1800 Brown

Cash and gift cards were among items taken from an unlocked 2016 Dodge in the 1800 block of Brown Avenue around 11:14 a.m. yesterday.

1900 Church

A burglar shattered the front glass door of a convenience store in the 1900 block of Church Street and took the cash register and cash between 2:10 a.m. and 3:19 a.m. today.

Drugs

1701 Howard

Lavonte D. Walton, 21, of 404 W. 117th St., Chicago, was arrested at 1701 Howard St. at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and charged with manufacture and delivery of cannabis.

Traffic

136 Ridge

Felicia Kathryn Davis, 33, of 6136 N. Seeley Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 136 Ridge Ave. at 11:25 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on June 3 at 1:30 p.m.

Asbury at Oakton

Marcos Cruz Flores-Vazquez, 35, of 3317 Wilder St., Skokie, was arrested at Asbury Avenue and Oakton Street at 7:30 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 4 at 1 p.m.

955 Howard

Kairi Jacoby Isiah Roberson, 26, of 814 Mulford St., was arrested at 955 Howard St. at 12:59 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 3 at 1:30 p.m.

An arrest does not a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take constitute place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
