2000 McDaniel

A package delivered to a home in the 2000 block of McDaniel Avenue was stolen around 2:30 p.m. yesterday.


2400 Main

Michael E. Thomas, 61, of 7436 Claremont, Chicago, was arrested at 2400 Main St. at 6:41 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery that causes bodily harm. He is due in court on Nov. 8 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Damage

800 Davis

Someone damaged a gate at the city parking lot in the 800 block of Davis Street between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 12:09 p.m. yesterday.

200 Custer

Someone damaged the wires in a 2007 Chevrolet in the 200 block of Custer Avenue between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 1:30 p.m. yesterday.


2817 Lunt

Joshua Herschel Reizner, 36, of 2817 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, was arrested at that address at 5:41 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
