Theft

1000 Main

A package containing a Dell laptop computer that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 1000 block of Main Street was stolen between 10:30 a.m. on Friday and 10:03 a.m. yesterday.

Drugs

1325 Howard

Leonard Leroy Larry, 30, of 3012 19th Place, North Chicago, was arrested at 1325 Howard St. at 8:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

2037 Oakton

Thomas D. Malone, 51, of 2037 Oakton St., was arrested at that address at 9:36 p.m. Friday and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Traffic

1100 Ridge

Jairo Mancera, 29, of 821 Dobson St., was arrested at 1100 Ridge Ave. at 8:40 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 5 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
