Theft

800 Dobson

A package that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 800 block of Dobson Street was stolen between noon Monday and 4:07 p.m. yesterday.

1100 Chicago

A purse was removed from the victim’s bag at the Jewel/Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

1600 Church

A purse was taken from an unlocked 2017 Toyota in the driveway of a home in the 1800 block of Church Street between 6:30 a.m. and 8:47 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

900 Maple

Someone keyed a 2017 Kia in an apartment parking space in the 900 block of Maple Avenue between 2 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

500 Sheridan

Two incidents of graffiti were discovered on a fieldhouse at a park in the 500 block of Sheridan Square at 7:54 p.m. yesterday and 2:53 a.m. today.

South Boulevard at Sheridan

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk at South Boulevard and Sheridan Road at 3:11 a.m. today.

Shots Heard

800 Case

Gunshots were reported in the 800 block of Case Street at 2:02 a.m. today. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
