CRIMINAL DAMAGE

900 Monroe

Five paintballs were shot from a passing Acura that hit the front porch of a home in the 900 block of Monroe Street at about 8:15 p.m. Friday.

800 Florence

Something shattered the rear window of a 2011 Volkswagen in the 800 block of Florence Avenue between 5 p.m. Friday and 9:25 a.m. Saturday.

BATTERY

1424 Grove

Devonier O. Casey, 27, of 1424 Grove St., was arrested at that address at 9:45 p.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery.

1710 Orrington

Markell R. Mitchell, 27, of 1710 Orrington Ave., was arrested at that address at 5:51 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery.

BURGLARY

900 Main

A cell phone was taken from an unlocked 2019 Volkswagen in the 900 block of Main Street at about 9 p.m. Saturday.

400 South Boulevard

A bag containing a purse or wallet was taken from an unlocked 2017 Subaru in the 400 block of South Boulevard between 4 p.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

2300 Prospect

A bicycle was stolen from the unlocked garage of a home in the 2300 block of Prospect Avenue between 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

1700 Chancellor

Cash, medication, and a purse were taken from two unlocked vehicles—a 2004 Acura and a 2001 Mazda—in the 1700 block of Chancellor Street between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8:15 a.m. yesterday.

1200 Leon

Jewelry, clothing, cash, and a laptop computer were stolen from a home in the 1200 block of Leon Place between 9:40 p.m. and 10:09 p.m. Sunday.

1200 Hull

A cell phone and face masks were taken from a 2015 Honda in the 1200 block of Hull Terrace between 6 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. yesterday.

OTHER

100 Ashland

A report was received of a man with a gun in the 100 block of Ashland Avenue at 8:10 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found no man with a gun.

SHOTS HEARD

Central at Jackson

Gunshots were reported near Central Street and Jackson Avenue at 9:04 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT

500 Keeney

A package delivered to a single family home in the 500 block of Keeney Street was stolen between 2:46 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Friday.

600 Chicago

Miscellaneous merchandise was stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

1400 Chicago

A bicycle secured to a bike rack in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen between Aug. 21 and 5:40 p.m. Friday.

1600 Chicago

Alcoholic products were taken from the Whole Foods grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 7:15 p.m. and 7:47 p.m. Friday.

1200 Hinman

A key was removed from under the mat in the yard of a home in the 1200 block of Hinman Avenue around 5 p.m. Friday.

1600 Oak

A 2019 Sym vehicle was stolen from a business parking lot in the 1600 block of Oak Avenue between 7 p.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

1400 Chicago

A bicycle left unattended in an apartment common area in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

1900 Dempster

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from the Valli Produce store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street between 7 p.m. Thursday and 1:57 p.m. Friday.

1700 Sherman

Medications were stolen from a pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Friday.

100 Callan

Cash and a suitcase were removed from a room of an apartment in the 100 block of Callan Avenue between midnight and 5 p.m. Saturday.

100 Ridge

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a gas station in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue around 8:46 a.m. Sunday.

1507 Lake

Andre Frazier, 55, of 2121 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 1507 Lake St. at 5:42 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m.

TRAFFIC

Dodge at Lake

Amir Morrlai Abdullah, 19, of 1621 Simpson St., was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Lake Street at 4:34 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 20 at 10:30 a.m.

2424 Oakton

Randy R. Pryor, 26, of 2309 Emerson St., was arrested at 2424 Oakton St. at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m.
