The Chicago Transit Authority says the eastbound lane of Main Street in Evanston will be closed at Chicago Avenue starting at 9 a.m. today and will remain closed until Friday for painting of the new viaduct installed last year.
Purple Line service is not affected.
Eastbound Route 200 Main Shuttle buses will operate via Main to Ridge, Greenleaf, Chicago, back to Main, then resume the regular route.
