Oakton School parents will meet Thursday night to discuss proposals to create an African-centered curriculum at the school.

Some parents fear the new curriculum would end the Oakton’s role as a walk-to neighborhood school for the community and others have voiced doubts about the educational effectiveness of the new proposal.
