Six parking meters have been pulled up out of the ground in the 1800 block of Oak Avenue since Nov. 8.

Graffiti

700 Howard

Graffiti was discovered at a grocery store in the 700 block of Howard Street at 10:34 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

1700 Sherman

Medicine was removed from a victim’s pocket at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue shortly after 11 a.m. yesterday.

2100 Ridge

A bicycle was stolen from an apartment common area in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue at about 11 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

710 Asbury

Stephanie M. Gillett, 41, of 6912 N. Wayne Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 710 Asbury Ave. at 12:49 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.
