300 Ridge

A nurse at AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital said she was spat upon by a patient yesterday at 10:43 a.m. 

Theft

2400 Howard

A purse was removed from a customer’s shopping cart at the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street at 9:35 a.m. yesterday.

Burglary

Greenwood at Sheridan

A burglar accessed a 2018 Subaru via an open window and stole a bag between 8:15 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. yesterday near Greenwood Street and Sheridan Road.

2000 Pratt

A burglar climbed through an unlocked window of a home in the 2000 block of Pratt Court between noon on May 13 and 12:51 p.m. yesterday and stole a gaming system.

Graffiti

McCormick at Prairie

Graffiti was discovered on the street at McCormick Boulevard and Prairie Avenue at 10:13 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
