Admission to the event is free to history center members, $10 for others. Copies of the book will be available for sale. A wine and appetizer reception catered by Whole Foods Market, Evanston South starts at 6:30 p.m.

Okrent founded the Chicago-based planning and zoning consulting firm Okrent Associates in 1979. It specializes in land planning and zoning, aerial photography, mapping, and graphic design for real estate marketing materials.
