Robber at bank counter

Evanston Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who robbed the Harris Bank branch at 2821 Central St. earlier this month.

Police say the two entered the bank about 12:05 p.m. on Jan. 5. One stood back fron the counter and displayed a black handgun, while the other approached the teller window and demanded money.

Police say he was given about $5,900, which he placed in a black bag.
