The Evanston/Skokie Council of PTAs has extended the deadline for nominations for its 2008 Phyllis Ganser Outstanding PTA Volunteer of the Year Award.
The new deadline is April 21, 2008. We are looking for nominees who meet the following criteria:
- A commitment to the PTA goal of promoting the welfare of all school children
- A willingness to work in any capacity (even behind the scenes)
- A spirit and enthusiasm for volunteer work
- A demonstrated ability to engage and involve other volunteers.
The only eligibility requirement is that the nominee be a member in good standing of the PTA/PTSA.

Nomination forms are now due April 21. The winner of this honorary award will be announced at the May meeting of either the District 65 or 202 School Board, and the name will be placed on a plaque in the District 65 Administration Building.
