800 Brummel

A burglar broke the rear window of an apartment in the 800 block of Brummel Street between 9:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Thursday and stole some jewelry.

1100 Church

Someone broke the window of a 2003 Honda in an apartment parking space in the 1100 block of Church Street around 5 p.m. Saturday.

1700 Orrington

An offender threw a tray and damaged a television set in a restaurant in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue around 4:45 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Asbury

Someone broke a window of a home in the 1800 block of Asbury Avenue with a rock around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Graffiti

900 Chicago

Someone defaced a retail establishment in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue with graffiti between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday.

1000 Elmwood

Graffiti was discovered at a park in the 1000 block of Elmwood Avenue at 3:43 p.m. Thursday.

600 Greenleaf

Graffiti was discovered on Chicago Transit Authority property in the 600 block of Greenleaf Street at 5:14 p.m. Saturday.

2700 Gross Point

Graffiti was discovered at a park in the 2700 block of Gross Point Road at 1:01 p.m. Friday.

3000 Central

Graffiti defaced two Ford trucks between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday in a business parking lot in the 3000 block of Central Street.

1128 Chicago

Armin David Jones, 51, address unknown, was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 12:40 p.m. yesterday and charged with violating a city ordinance on breach of the peace. He is due in court on June 29 at 9 a.m.

Theft

2400 Howard

Someone stole baby food from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 11:55 a.m. Friday.

2400 Main

A cell phone left unattended at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Main Street was stolen around 7:27 p.m. Saturday.

1300 Ridge

A pickpocket removed a wallet from a victim’s purse at a religious institution in the 1300 block of Ridge Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. Friday.

2700 Green Bay

Someone removed the license plate from a 2007 Saturn in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road around noon on Friday.

843 Dodge

Manuel Tirado, 42, of 1720 Monroe St., was arrested at 843 Dodge Ave. at 1:09 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on May 24 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1731 Ashland

Dante Ar Henley, 21, of 1506 Pitner Ave., was arrested at 5:36 p.m. yesterday at 1731 Ashland Ave. and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 24 at 9 a.m.
