Battery

2047 Darrow

Ebony L. Addison, 30, of 2023 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 2047 Darrow Ave. at 5:28 p.m. yesterday and was charged with battery. He is due in court on Aug. 5 at 1:30 p.m.

401 Dodge

Ruslan Ilyayev, 37, of 10060 Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested at 401 Dodge Ave. at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday and charged with aggregated battery.  

Burglary

800 Michigan

An unlocked 1995 GMC vehicle was entered around 4:14 a.m. today in the 800 block of Michigan Avenue.

600 Custer

A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked apartment storage area in the 600 block of Custer Avenue between June 8 and 3:30 p.m. yesterday.

600 Forest

An unlocked 2013 Toyota was entered between 4:14 a.m. and 4:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Forest Avenue.

2700 Thayer

Credit and debit cards were taken from a 2010 Mazda in the 2700 block of Thayer Street between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8:53 a.m. yesterday.

An unlocked 2009 Subaru was entered between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 10:10 a.m. yesterday in the 2700 block of Thayer Street

Criminal Damage

200 Ridge

Someone damaged the rear passenger side window of a 2009 Toyota in the 200 block of Ridge Avenue between midnight and 5:50 p.m. yesterday.

Other

Ridge at Emerson

Police responded to a report of a man with a gun near Ridge Avenue and Emerson Street at 10:15 a.m. yesterday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Shots Heard

Forestview at Colfax

Gunshots were reported in the vicinity of Forestview Road and Colfax Street at 10:19 p.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1000 Grove

A black Schwinn men’s bicycle that was locked to a bike rack at the McGaw YMCA was stolen between 10:26 a.m. and 1:26 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Dodge

A bicycle locked to a bike rack at Evanston Township High School was stolen between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

1100 Howard

A 20-year-old Wilmette resident fell asleep yesterday morning in a McDonald’s Restaurant in the 1100 block of Howard Street with about $35 in his pocket. When he awoke, the cash was missing, he told police, who are searching for a suspect seen in a surveillance video of the incident.

Traffic

7500 Western

Carlos Castro, 49, of 5654 N. Rockwell Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7500 N. Western  Ave., Chicago, at 6:28 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 31 at 10:30 a.m.

Oakton at Dodge

Salvador Coria, 31, of 4326  S. Honore St., Chicago, was arrested at Oakton Street and Dodge Avenue at 4:56 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on July 10 at 9 a.m.

200 Barton

Juan C. Pagan, 44, of 4106 W. Addison St., Chicago, was arrested at 200 Barton Ave. at 11 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on July 31 at 10:30 a.m.
