Pilates Connection, one of the businesses scheduled to be displaced by construction of the Albion Residential development on Sherman Avenue, has found a new home.

Owner Rhonda Colenza of Park Ridge plans to seek approval from the city’s Design and Project Review Committee this week to relocate to the recently-constructed storefront at 1609 Oak Ave.

1609 Oak Ave.

The plans for the exercise studio will also require approval by the Zoning Board of Appeals

The move will complete efforts by the owner of the new building, George Radaios of Glenview, to rent out the storefronts that replaced the building destroyed by the Pine Yard restaurant fire more than four years ago.

The building’s other storefronts face Davis Street. Title Boxing Club opened in half of the Davis side of the building last year and the One River School of Art and Design is schedule to open in the other half this spring.
