A burglar used an unlocked window to access a home in the 2000 block of Emerson Street where Playstation 4 software was reported taken. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

2000 Emerson

Playstation 4 software was taken by a burglar who accessed a home in the 2000 block of Emerson Street between 6:50 a.m. and 6:16 p.m. yesterday by climbing through an unlocked window.

Theft

1600 Sherman

Clothing and alcoholic merchandise were taken from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 6:13 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.  Monday.

300 Sherman

A package containing clothing that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue was stolen around noon Monday.

1616 Sherman

Joey S. Hines, 31, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1616 Sherman Ave. at 10:59 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on April 12 at 10:30 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
