Applications are still being accepted for the Evanston Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy fall session, a free program for residents interested in learning more about how the local police do their job.

This interactive program, facilitated by Evanston officers, covers a wide range of topics relating to the department. It lasts 13 weeks and meets Thursday evenings from August 23 through Nov. 15.
