Evanston police say a 54-year-old Darrow Avenue resident was was arrested late Wednesday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

And police report shoplifting incidents Thursday in the 1100 and 1600 blocks of Chicago Avenue and early Friday morning in the 800 block of Emerson Street.
