Evanston police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

Police Cmdr. Ryan Glew says the robber brandished a knife and demanded cash from the teller at the Huntington Bank branch in the Jewel-Osco store in the 2400 block of Howard Street.

The robbery occurred about 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white man between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 200 to 240 pounds and between 35 and 50 years of age.

He had short blond hair and possible reddish blond facial hair.

He was wearing a black baseball hat with a red bull logo, black sunglasses, black sweatshirt with the white outline of a leaping cat, blue pants a blue surgical mask and gray gloves.
