Evanston police say a 69-year-old Evanston driver is facing felony charges after allegedly causing an accident that left a motorcyclist hospitalized with injuries.

Cmdr. Brian Henry says Dwight A. Hudson of 2554 Prairie Ave. has been charged with aggravated driving under the influence and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, his car.

Henry says says witnesses told police Hudson was driving his 2016 Hundai Elantra northbound on Green Bay Road from McCormick Boulevard at a high rate of speed chasing a motorcycle when the accident occurred about 7 p.m. Sunday on Green Bay near Isabella Street..

In all two motorcycles and four cars ended up involved in the crash.

The driver of one of the motorcycles was transported to the hospital for treatment of a broken right rib and leg lacerations.
