Commonwealth Edison says nearly 700 customers in southwest Evanston are without power this morning.

The outage, which was first reported around 8:30 a.m. has also knocked out traffic signals on Dodge Avenue at Oakton and Main streets.

ComEd is giving three different sites for the outages, all in the same general area — one at Seward Street and Grey Avenue, another on Oakton west of James Park and the third north of Mulford Street between Dodge and Darrow avenues.

ComEd says it hopes to have power restored to the affected areas by 11 a.m.
