THEFT
1000 Fowler
Power tools were taken from a home in the 1000 block of Fowler Avenue between 5 p.m. Sunday and 10:13 a.m. Monday.

800 Case
A white 2016 Lincoln MKZ was stolen from the 800 block of Case Street, thanks to the key fob being left in the vehicle.

BATTERY
2001 Dodge
Dianna Moreno, 18, of 2001 Dodge Ave., was arrested at that address at 7:05 p.m. Monday and charged with battery.

BURGLARY
2500 Oakton
Electronic items were removed from an unlocked 2016 Chrysler in the 2500 block of Oakton Street between midnight Dec. 9 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 25.

100 Asbury
A handicap placard was removed from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday.

2200 Howard
Electronic items were removed from an unlocked 2017 Kia in a parking lot in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 7 p.m. Monday.

TRAFFIC
1000 Ridge
Brian Vladimir Ayala, 20, of 5630 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 1000 Ridge Ave. at 4:34 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation.

800 Asbury
Taylor Zaire Gee, 28, of 1811 Hovland Court,  was arrested at 800 Asbury Ave. at 8:54 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place at Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
