Evanston-based private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners announced today that it has completed the sale of its interest in Physicians Endoscopy to Charlotte-based Pamlico Capital.

Headquartered in Jamison, Pennsylvania, Physicians Endoscopy is the largest single-specialty developer, owner and manager of endoscopy centers in the United States.

Founded in 1998, the company operates 29 centers and provides a comprehensive suite of billing, management and development services for centers and its partner physicians and hospitals.

Silver Oak, with offices at 1560 Sherman Ave., initially invested in Physicians Endoscopy in April 2008. Since then the company has more than doubled the number of its centers and nearly tripled EBITDA.

Silver Oak describes itself as a lower middle market private equity firm focused exclusively on service businesses.
