A purse that was left unattended at the beach in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road was stolen last night after dark. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

1800 Sheridan

A purse that was left unattended at the beach in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road was reported stolen between 9:20 p.m. and 10:09 p.m. yesterday.

2400 Oakton

Alcoholic products were stolen from a gas station in the 2400 block of Oakton Street at 12:37 a.m. today.

1900 Dempster

A bicycle was stolen from a retail establishment in the 1900 block of Dempster Street around 3:10 p.m. yesterday.

Battery

2203 Wesley

Luke T. Agnew, 19, of 819 Colfax St., was arrested at 2203 Wesley Ave. at 9:34 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Aug. 28 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Damage

1100 Howard

Someone shattered a window at a McDonald’s Restaurant in the 1100 block of Howard Street around 11 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of .guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
