A purse was stolen from the Hilton Orrington Hotel in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue around 12:30 p.m. yesterday. It contained contact lenses, cash, and credit cards.
800 Howard
Clothes left unattended at a laundromat in the 800 block of Howard Street were stolen around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
600 Brummel
A package containing miscellaneous merchandise that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 800 block of Brummel Street was stolen around 4:45 p.m. yesterday.
1833 Leland
Kailynn Johnson Kirk, 25, of 1833 Leland Ave., was arrested at that address at 11:42 a.m. yesterday and charged with theft. A court date has been set for Dec. 13 at 9 a.m.

1121 Oakton
Robert David Conner, 30, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1121 Oakton St. at 7:49 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.
901 Noyes
Larry Z. Patrrick, 45, address unknown, was arrested at 901 Noyes St. at 7 p.m. Sunday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Dec. 11 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue at 1:12 p.m. yesterday

Jessica L. Davis, 35, of 7638 Keeler Ave., Skokie, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 10:01 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m.
1608 Pitner
Ryan L. Giles, 39, of 1212 Fowler Ave., was arrested at 1608 Pitner Ave. at 5:38 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
400 Sheridan
Mejra Suljkic, 19, of 1220 W. Jarvis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 400 Sheridan Road at 1:41 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for Dec. 4 at 9 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
