500 Asbury

Someone took a purse from the room of a resident at a nursing home in the 500 block of Asbury Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. yesterday.

1100 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 4:18 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

2400 Orrington

Glasses were taken from a 2015 Infiniti in the 2400 block of Orrington Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday and  a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

400 Howard

Someone dented the driver’s side door of a 2017 Jeep in an apartment parking space in the 400 block of Howard Street between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

1900 Grey

Graffiti was discovered in the yard of a home in the 1900 block of Grey Avenue at 7 p.m. yesterday.

Other

Greenwood at Florence

Police received a report of a man with a gun seen in the vicinity of Greenwood Street and Florence Avenue at 10:30 p.m. yesterday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
