Mental health experts will answer residents’ questions about health and well-being and provide resources available during the coronavirus pandemic as part of a live “Coronavirus Q&A” hosted by Evanston Mayor Stephen Hagerty at noon today.

The live question and answer session will feature Adia Gooden, Ph.D., director of community programs and outcome measurement at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and Christine Somervill, Ph.D., director of programs for NAMI Cook County North Suburban.

The session will be broadcast on City Channel 16 and streamed on the City’s Facebook page and YouTube channel and on the Evanston Now home page.

Residents can submit questions regarding mental health in advance or live during the broadcast using the City’s online question form. Questions may also be submitted by calling or texting 847-448-4311.

This session is the latest in the City’s “Coronavirus Q&A” series, which provides residents with information and resources related to the coronavirus pandemic. Previous sessions have focused on public health, healthcare, economic development and business resources and government response to the crisis.
